Saying goodbye- Vernon's funeral

Infortunately I can't make it. I shall have a moment of quiet contemplation at 1:40.

Farewell big pie man.

Hope the day goes smoothly for family and friends. I intend to be out on my bike later, timing my ride with a visit to my favourite pie shop. I never met Vernon, but he kept me entertained on here, and I like to think we would have got on well.

RIP Big Man, you are very much missed but i have a feeling your "presence" on this site will be around for a long time.

RIP, Vernon; very sorry to miss today. But of all people - Vernon would appreciate and forgive that summat came up, affecting a group of vulnerable school kids.

I was there in spirit. Condolences to family and friends.

I did have the rather irreverent and inappropriate vision of Vernon being carried into the crematorium in a coffin-shaped pie case...

My guilt was somewhat assuaged by the thought that would probably crack Vernon up.

I will put up a longer item later tonight.I was at the Funeral,so were many, many more.There was laughter lots of it.There was joy,there was happiness that we had met a very wonderful man. A truly wonderful man.
