My daughter is only 5 ....... Probably wise to start looking now then considering how quickly things escalate :-D

There are actually graduations and proms for this age group as well

My kids have done prom twice ... At both year 11 and 13! I'm afraid I think it's a huge waste of money especially cars etc. One time a large group of them hired an old green bus to take them, some turned up on a tractor and trailer. For their 6th form prom they bought more sensible dresses that they were able to wear again after the event.

Not drinking Lucozade?
No I can't remember why but we went to a mates house for the Philadelphia bit and to drink half pints of vodka. Lucozade would have been healthier

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Quite.

And a schools prom is a prom concert performed by performers still at school.

In the days when such things still existed I decided not to take an entrance exam for university on the basis that the date clashed with an opportunity to sing at the RAH at the schools prom with my county chamber choir. I got in on the basis of A levels and an interview instead.

It can be stylish and inexpensive

I have loaned my Christiania to a neighbour who cycled his Daughter and friend wearing a chauffeur's uniform

We live opposite a local school

The best was a young lady who had parents who were bikers

All you could hear was a sound of engines
An escort of some 50 bikes lined the school entrance and revved their engines as an immaculate custom trike delivered the young lady and her beau

A superb piece of theatre
