For some, me included, nothing will replace a geared 2 stroke scooter in our affections, as far superior as the GTS is, it's just not as "involving", no auto scooter is.I'm not really a fan of the PX, would choose a GTS every time..

I was tempted by the last PX150 they had in the store last week, but that's even more of a coolness cost.

But the purchase price is not the same as the cost, not when residuals are taken into account. What'll be worth more in 20 years a 2017 PX or the GTS? The PX and by a very large amount. I can't get through a long days ride my Vespa GL without somebody asking how much I want for it, and with LML giving up on 2 strokes, the last PX's will go up in value better than money in the bank.
I only have a cbt what's the fastest scooter I can have as I'm in the same situation as you almost. I'm guessing it's up to 125cc. Quite like Suzuki van vans too.
I have a Van Van! I use it on my commute as my Vespa is too valuable
.I wouldn't be seen dead on any other spindly 125 (Apart from a Grom if I was younger), they are a cult bike, look on YouTube and see where people get to on them. It's the smallest bike I've ever owned but I love it, super comfy, tyres so big kerbs are entry/exit points, you can trail ride on it and I get 120+ miles per £6.50 (ish), the only drawback is that it is slow, all 125's are, but as I only use it for zipping through traffic clogged roads it's perfect for me.They are cool, I'd like a rear wheel to front wheel conversion like this.
