Not round enough for you, your majesty?
It's the broad grey alloy; don't like.

They are both well made reliable bikes.

The SH300 looks remarkably similar to the Piaggio Beverly 350..

I am sure the Honda is wonderful thing, it's still a plastic thing though. The Vespa is metal bodied thing of beauty, that is nicer to look at and nice to own. If they are similar cost it would be a very easy choice for me..........
Well, it appears that the magical interconnections between part-ex price and ticket price have made my mind up for me. Even though the Vespa is a few hundred quid less than the best price I've had for a Honda, Honda are offering me 50% more part-ex for my motorbike. So the price to change is double for the Vespa than for the Honda.
But what about the residual value, that is part of the "cost" too? In a few years time the Vespa will be an instantly recognisable model, the Honda will be an old plastic scooter. I've had maxi scooters and they are wonderful things but I could never bond with one, look after it, be seen dressed up on one, unless it was metal bodied Vespa. You'll be buying a lesser "thing" & that's why it's cheaper. Go with your heart and pay the extra few £100 to buy into an iconic brand and get pleasure from just owning it, what's that worth in £'s?

Plus all your Xmas & Birthday presents are sorted via Vespa paraphernalia!

P.S It's just not possible to look good on that Honda.
I know what you're saying, but I drive a Skoda. Coolness is nice, but not £1200 nice. I'd rather save that money and get something hugely reliable which is a great ride but boring to look at. It's not a maxi-scooter by the way, it's just a scooter with a bigger engine in. Which is one of the attractions.

I was tempted by the last PX150 they had in the store last week, but that's even more of a coolness cost.

When I've got some disposable money (one day) I will be investing in another metal bodied scooter.
I'm not really a fan of the PX, would choose a GTS every time..

I only have a cbt what's the fastest scooter I can have as I'm in the same situation as you almost. I'm guessing it's up to 125cc. Quite like Suzuki van vans too.

We've sold a fair few of these, Piaggio Medley (i-get) 125's.

Stop/ start enabled, really good all rounder.

The GTS 125 now has the new i-get engine as well, they'll do around 70 to 75mph.
