I've never felt so underwhelmed before the start of a Wales match.

On a loosing streak. First choice 1 & 3 out. Backs running towards the touch line, and a frustrated flanker wearing the no 9 jersey who's performance last week can only be described as Bergamascoesque !

This against an improving settled Scotland team, at home, who performed quite well in defeat last week with three tries against france.

Not even my childhood conditioning (1970's) can get me exited about this - I can only see it going one way

Scotland to win by 7-10.

I do hope that I'm proved wrong though !

After that build up, I'm glad I'm not a Rugby Fan ;-)

And that was the optimistic version!

We've got a 10 who plays at 12 for his regionn and hasn't played at 10 for X many years.

A 13 not long back from injury with a suspect shoulder and hasn't shown his Lions form since... the Lions tour.

15 not long back from injury and a longway from his best form.

Li'l Shane at 11 - had 30 min in a regional game post injury before being recalled to the national squad.

So much for picking on form players!

Did I mention the 9 that can't pass ?

We're doomed! (Come on Wales)

Nearly time for the anthems - maybe that will get me up.

Wales need to win this, most important match they've had for a long time.

Cracking performance by England today though, Chris Ashton, what a hero.

Scotland might be in with a fighting chance if they binned that donkey Parks for someone who could do something other than give the ball away. In fact I am wondering if Parks is playing for Scotland.

Lamont and Brown are the only Scottish players showing any passion.

Do any other Welsh fans find themselves willing Neil Jenkins to take off his kicking coach tracksuit and kick the ball for us?

Like I said before kick off... a dominant scrum, a 10 capable of controlling the game, a 13 carrying on where he left off with the Lions, and ball carriers going forward getting over the gain line instead of crabbing sideways.

The result was never in doubt

I do feel a bit for Scotland though, final score was a bit flattering.
