my new frame/seatpost is having a major slip issue, i tighten the bolts as much as i see fit but i can just bash it and it will drop down never mind sit on it im 15.5 stone so it has no chance if i actually sit on it, whats the best proven method? i cant change seatpost or clamp as its proprietary

Carbon assembly paste is necessary for the Venge seat post and stem, without it you will get slippage. You can get various types. I prefer the gel

You can get carbon assembly paste, which is widely available and is designed specifically to allow carbon posts to be lightly clamped yet stay still. But your description doesn't sound right to me, it sounds like either something is wrong with the frame/clamp or post... Can you not take it back to where it comes from and get them to deal with it? Do you have a vernier caliper to check the hole/post size cf specification?

There is always one of THESE as a added safety measure .. it clamps both the seatpost and the frame, doubling the clamping power

It's an aero seatpost so a lot of the above suggestions won't work unfortunately, I ordered tome tax paste or however it is spelled but the website then turned French and has no English option? Anyone else ordered from ac cycles? It said .co.uk. And parcelforce free shipping ahh well it was only 1.64 for a sachet so not too fussed if it goes wrong, that's my account cleared for now or I would of bought a tube
