Second childhood?

I fear I may be having my second childhood as today I took a half day from work (the sun was out!), didn't tell the missus, sneaked home for my bike and went out to play for the afternoon! Collecting the good lady later from her mothers I never breathed a word of what I'd been up to, especially as she told me that our two year old son had been playing up all day! . . . So did I do the right thing or have I just built up some negative karma?

I'd be quite impressed with my husband if he took the afternoon off to go for a ride.
Jealous that he hadn't taken me with him though.

funnily enough i am considering this as well! however if i get to go training at another office i can crack 40 miles a day cycling lovely hills and views by me though.
