Sell the bike or sell the parts?

Hmmmm, not sure what to do.

I've got an old Claud Butler Oracle steel MTB that I'm just not using and is taking up precious space.

In all honesty I can't imagine a time I'll ever ride it with any significance now, so what to do.

Should I just advertise the bike as is, or break it down and flog all the bits?

Is there much of a market for older MTB parts? I just don't know.

What do we reckon folks? This is the bike anyhow...............

It's probably only the wheels, c/set and gears that will have much worth, but only if they are quality items. Maybe best to sell it as a going concern as there is always seems to be a market for cheap runabouts.

As if that wasn't cool enough it's at a location called 'nob end!'.
I know, I nearly fell off my bike laughing when I first saw a sign for Nob End.

I was only about 14 though ^_^

it's only pre '57 claud butlers that are of interest over and above the actual quality of the bike; the brand has been put on some very dubious quality machines (through the 70s-90s), although currently seems to appear on reasonably priced, entry level bikes...
