Servicing (Fiddling With) Manitou Slate Forks

Can anyone point me towards a good thread/vid/website/whatever that covers the above?

I'm talking exploded diagrams and easy-to-follows guides to adjust/service this that and the other.

I've never had a good go at suspension forks before and I'm sure it'll end in disaster but I'll give it a whirl anyway because I just can't help myself.

Righto, in the absence of any replies I'm going to ask some specific questions:

Does the dial at the top of the left leg do anything?
What does the bolt at the bottom of the left leg do?
and the hex bolt at the bottom of the right leg?
Will anything explode is I attempt to dismantle the forks?
Are there any specific lubes I need?

Come on, I'm dying to have a fiddle.
