Now I have a 10 mile commute, so there's obviously going to be some idiot do something dodgy... Never would I expect 7 (well, 8) of the buggers in a single day!

One SMIDGAF
One "must pass cyclist" ...and one "must overtake cyclist on the inside"
Three close passes ...on the same stretch of road
One person with space issues (as much as I'd love to report him, I can't make out the full numberplate)
And finally, a mobile phone user (whom I won't report because he did eventually pull over)

:tired:

1st one-nothing wrong with it

2nd one-much ado about nothing

3rd one - you got caught out - 50/50

4th one - much ado about nothing.

Got bored after that.

1st one-nothing wrong with it +1 waste of time posting

2nd one-much ado about nothing +1 in fact there is no point to this vid what so ever.

3rd one - you got caught out - 50/50 +1 should have let the van go.

4th one - much ado about nothing.

Got bored after that. Got bored before you did

C'mon camsters, if you are going to post something, make it something worth posting and watching.

For a second there I thought you meant punctures! Phew! What a relief...

I'm afraid I have to agree. 1, 2 and 4 looked like nothing really. Assuming you were indicating left, then 3 was a bit of an ignorant so and so. 5 was closer than they should have been, but not so bad I would have posted it. 6 is always an awkward situation, but is really 50:50. 7 - I've given up bothering with these unless they actually do something that affects me directly.

Have you just got the camera? Did a 16 mile quick training ride tonight and loads worse than those, chill out, they did little wrong.

Yep really sorry but I have to agree with 400bhp. The close passes weren't that close. The "must pass cyclist", you were quite a way from the red light, I count a "must pass cyclist" as one where they brake as soon as they are in front of you.

The inside overtake was largely due to your road positioning. Either you accept these or you close the gap after the post office van by indicating you're pulling back into the lane and taking your position when safe to do so.

1st and 4th are pretty bad I'll give you that.

Second one, you're in a cycle lane, I don't see the problem.

3rd one pretty annoying but it happens.

5th on happens to me every single day or it would if I didn't claim the lane by taking a very strong primary. Your other alternative is to pull into secondary as that's quite a wide gap where the island is. The ones where it happens to me there is just room for a car.

Ah, of course, I forgot about the force-field dashed line. That comment's got to be a wind-up, surely!

You are extremely tolerant. I think both of these are unacceptable and actually quite dangerous.

It seems that we all accept different degrees of risky behaviour from motorists. I guess Bigsharn is just less tolerant than most of us.

1, 2, 4 and 5 were all (at least almost) within arm's reach. I was indicating left on 3 (just before the RM van sped up). The camera's highly misleading.

I have just got the camera, but, again, it's misleading (rather than me being upload happy). I used to have an Muvi clone and today's a first for the amount of videos I've uploaded.

It's less the must pass I'm fussed about. It's more him being in the ASZ (presumably to stop me using it) than not concentrating on the road. It's not so clear on the video but he was looking down in the passenger footwell for some reason.

The inside overtake was largely due to your road positioning. Either you accept these or you close the gap after the post office van by indicating you're pulling back into the lane and taking your position when safe to do so.

I was indicating. Go and watch the video again and you'll see that it wasn't safe to pull in, as the tosser accelerated to stop me getting in (why, is still beyond me).

It's less about how bad the cockups are, more about how many of them there were in a 10 mile commute (3 of which on the same bit of road).

Of course the door zone and the car waiting to pull out are moot factors :roll
