I'm a pharmacist and I'm often surprised at the state of some of the old boys who still get Sildenafil (viagra) prescriptions
Maybe that's because the GPs are no longer allowed to prescribe it for ED, its now only available for those with spinal injury or similar which makes them unable to perform.

GPs have always been limited to who they can prescribe it to on the NHS under the SLS scheme .

We do a huge number of private prescriptions now that it is available as a generic and now costs peanuts.

Yes, I can get an Indian knock off down here for the equivalent of 80p each.


A pack of 8 costs me less than 80p to buy through legitimate routes.

We now charge £5 for 8 on prescription. When Viagra was the only option we would be charging circa £70.
