Cold commute but getting warmer later this week.

i walked maybe quarter of a mile today as mrs ck dropped me off at post office and i was only wearing slip on boat shoe like things as i cant get dwon to do laces atm and i got chillblains in the toes

Well, at least you got a chance to warm up in a cosy cell while the desk sergeant typed up the indecent exposure charge!

Four punctures today! All tiny holes from thorns on Christmas Pass, Nevada. Couldn't locate them without a water bucket (highlighted) which I had to make up from a plastic bag and drinks crate at a small village.

Time to go tubeless 🤔

The causeway to Inch Island. I did a little 8km loop using a little of the disused railway line on the shore and then over the road bridge to the island and around to this causeway. Not sure why this was constructed when there already is a bridge nearby or perhaps a new wider bridge replaced this for motor vehicles.

And another raised causeway, not crossable nowadays but it carried the railway c1850. - 1953. I wish they'd develop this into a proper cycle route.
