Well I wouldn't - when in the Lycra it generally means I've been riding the bike hard - so dripping with sweat all over the shop would generate a few 'odd looks'.
I've popped in Maplin a couple of times on my way home, but that's with baggy shorts on and MTB kit, so it doesn't look too odd - just can't stay long before the sweat starts pouring off me.....
