Shorts - not baggy, or tight, but something in between

I cant find a pair of cycling shorts that I like.

My Endura Humvee's 3/4 lengths are worn out. I thought that replacing them with the normal length version would be easy bit it isnt. It seems that Endura shorts are now cut so that they are really baggy. I mean *really* baggy.

I dont want lycra shorts as I like having pockets. I wear them on my road bike, and around town, so they've got to look like shorts, and not fetish wear.

Can someone help?

They are unpadded, so if you are used to padded shorts you'll need something padded with them.

I have the lady version of the 3/4 humvee (got them from Cycle Surgery) and they're not that baggy. Partner has man version and aain they're not baggy (and he's like a rake!)

I bought these of ebay, nice comfortable shorts with pockets good value for money, don't know how they compare with the more expensive ones,

Have you looked at Tenn Outdoors? These Mtb shorts look ok.
