Castelli Bib Shorts

Hi there

I've got a few pairs of Castelli bib shorts that are a few years old. They still look good and fit well. However I think the padded part of the shorts is not as good as before. I'm loathe to throw them out as they're in good condition. Is there anything I could do about putting new padding in? I was thinking maybe along the lines of new padding and getting a professional seamstress to fit them. Is that possible? Any recommendations would be helpful?

they are probably threadbare at the arse anyway, you just cant see it as you never cycle behind yourself and see that shadowy builders bum.....
