Can anyone remember a few years back when a male shot putter (or similar) had to enter the 100metres?
It was something to do with having to have 2 athletes or more involved in the games, so he entered the 100m as well as his own event.
I think he was from American Samoa or Tonga or somewhere like that.
I just remember the camera going along the line one by one and having to physically move up and back to get this guy in the frame. Then he stayed with the field for about 5 metres then fell away.
One of the funniest things I've seen, mostly out of sheer surprise.
If anyone can furnish me with the details, or even better a clip of it, I'd be very happy.
