Not only that, I've heard his feet can smell!

Meanwhile, thinking about it, a lot of lifting and hauling, while tiring, doesn't use cycling muscles that much. If there are hills or speed that need honking up, then I'd expect weak legs. If it's covering the distance at your own pace and easy gearing, the legs might be fine.

I thought the question was going to be "Should I shift all those slabs in the panniers"!

Yep... Go for it :notworthy:

I had two monster physical days at work Thursday Friday aswell as the rest of the week, I'm a self employed gardener/grounds mnt. Had a 21 mile sporting TT yesterday (Saturday) which I struggled with if I'm honest, still completed it in 53.13 which was my first attempt on that course (winning time was 46 something). I just didn't feel I had the "full on" energy required to give it my absolute best .

I'm back, 41.9 miles at an average of 12.9mph, Siddal, Halifax to Hollingworth Lake and back. Beautiful morning for it, lots of fellow cyclists on the roads.

The one thing I have learned from today is that ruddy saddle is no bloody good, sore arse does not even come close! I have now replaced the black saddle with the original that came with the bike.
Before anyone asks I did use chamois cream and I was wearing didoo bib tights though I must admit the pad was not the best I have ever worn.
