So is salad cream!I've bought coleslaw,but only when reduced to about 15p
and as usual with buying too much almost out of date stuff,some of it goes off before you can eat it. After a few days coleslaw starts to bubble in the container. I've always wondered what it'd taste like.
But, but, ..... doesn't fermented coleslaw become sauerkraut?Oh my goodness, shop made out of date coleslaw? It sounds disgusting... come come Accy, how hard is it to make some coleslaw? Admittedly I used to retch when my Mum and Sister ate the shop bought one, but then as you get older and realise that coleslaw is just raw veg in a dressing, you cotton on that you can therefore make it with whatever you damn well want in it. Any raw veg, any dressing, your choice. Hell, you can even make it really delicious with herbs, pickles, hot sauce, whatever stuff you want!
Please tell me you'll chop up some veg tomorrow and eschew bargain bin Tesco bubbling coleslaw forever.
