The pump is mounted there because the Brompton pump doesn't fit in the old titanium rear triangles, so I used some spare bottle-cage straps - Zefal ones I think. The gizmo is a cadence sensor that I had lying around. Bit overkill really. Will probably get moved to another bike at some point, but I usually have a Garmin Edge 25 fitted as a basic cycle computer, mainly to log mileage.

A good idea to put O-rings around the left crank to save it from folding pedal damage. Just in case it's useful to you....... I carry a small alloy pump (from Lidl for £5) inside the seatpin of my superlight. I fitted some old inner tube (narrower than Brompton tube) around both the body of the pump and the handle to prevent any chance of it rattling inside the seatpin. A plug in the lower end of the seatpin stops it falling out. It's a great pump with a flexi connector (just like some pricey ones) - I've seen similar on an auction site as well. It doesn't have a gauge (that wouldn't fit inside the seatpin!) but is ideal and out of the way.

This is my fifth Brompton, a 12-speed P-Line Electric called Bronzy Brompton (Bronze Sky metallic):
This was also the first outing for the Insta360 X5 (Christmas present from my lovely Wife)

I'm looking forward to many more trips to France in 2026!

Exactly the same spec as mine even down to the Brooks saddle!. I really like the flat bars of the S6L, IMO it improves the riding position, especially if you are a slightly shorter rider (I'm 5'7") my only criticism with the stock 6 speed Brompton is that they are a heavy bike. I notice the weight when sticking it in the boot of the car.

Mine came from Covent Garden & was fitted with a C17 saddle that never quite suited my posterior!
The Brooks was from @biggs682 and has worn into being really comfortable.
Yes, they're a bit heavy to lug around but not overly so when riding..

Mine also originally came from Covent Garden, it's 2021 S6L which I bought late 2024 off the first owner, it had never been out of the box, so was a brand new 3 year old bike, it originally had a rack which I removed. I added the B17 Narrow.

My previous Brompton's were old, tatty and refurbished, you really can't beat a brand new one, they just ride so much better.

My most comfy saddle is a Brooks B66, which came via my brother, who hated it.
Even siblings can differ hugely with regard to posterior comfort
