why do all the pros use disc wheels on the back then not tri spokes?

Ask the pros and its says front wheel not rear wheel

It says if you get a 3/5 spoke you'll save 42 seconds over a 12 spoke wheel, it says get a rear disc and save 29 seconds over a 3 spoke

So my deduction presumes a disc rear wheel is quicker than a tri spoke rear wheel, unless i cant read properly

they use front tri spokes, they have never used a rear...

Im just interested as i plan on a tt bike thisyear in some shape or form and naturally i want to slip through the wind like an oiled up gnat

A front disc is illegal under uci rules for the road (for safety reasons) thats why you dont see pros with them in TTs these days, they are still ok for pursuits on the track though.
