For the winter, this Eastway R4.0 re-commissioned for a third winter:

From March onwards: unsure, it may be a Wilier Montegrappa I have but at this point it could be anything.

No changes required (again) due to the fact that my commuter is just stupendously good at what it does. However, this is probably a timely reminder for me to get it ready for the return to work on Monday so I should probably charge the AAAs and I know the chain is just coming up to the wear point that indicates a replacement is due.....

You asked for it....

Fantastic bike bought end of 2010 so has been used for commuting ever since. Seven years of service during which it has clocked up 18,000 miles. Just fitted a new chain (Exactly 1,500 since the last one which is typical for me) so now ready for the 2018 season to begin....

No need to change what works. My Boardman CX Team works year round as my commuter. Got a few days off now so it will be getting new cables and bar tape, first change after over 8000 miles.

Only had this bike from August so not covered a great amount of mileage on it yet! Apart from the panniers, saddle bag and replacing the pedals it's the same as i bought it. Does the job for me and as its my only bike now will be my all year rounder. No upgrades planned yet but will when parts wear out
