I'll try it out later with some water. If it still holds water then I suppose I could put whisky in, but I'm already a bit of an alky, so maybe not!🧐😉

I have a large staff that I bought after losing my intestine in 2010 (careless, I know!).

It was sold as being Palm wood, but others have told me it's actually oak (it was £50 if that makes a difference).
When I used it, people called it 'The Gandalf Stick'.

A friend's dad was an antique dealer and had a walking stick with a .410 shotgun in it. He never took it outside or tried to fire it as far as I'm aware. A bit impractical as if you carried it as a stick you'd get mud in the barrel which would be very dangerous. He also had a sword stick.

The one my grandad had, was a test tube type of glass vial, and the cork was fixed to the brass handle, that one will obviously hold a bit more than a nip, probably intended for extended outings, everyday is a schooldays though!

My grandfather had a walking stick with a gun in it. I can't remember much about it now, but it was really old. He had a few old guns and had a lot of interest in them.

My uncle has them all now as far as I know.
