Now a custom would mean you would have cad drawings and design specifics for a builder like I did with my titanium frame..........then hand built wheels and full groupo of choice.

If you enjoy the process and the ride then it's all good stuff....... except on here of course. Here you're more likely to be told you're doing everything wrong should have spent less/more/nothing and not chosen carbon/ally/steel and should only ride whatever the poster themselves rides.
Other than that rather embarrassing feature a lot of people on here are fine.

I think @Matthew_Ryder you have described it wrongly, it’s not custom ( google image search ‘custom bikes’) and you’ll now what I mean. Nor is it designed by you, the frame is designed by the peeps who design Planet X frames and no doubt built in the Far East.
But you have picked some excellent parts and put it together resulting in a fine looking machine that will be admired by many, I like it a lot, well done and ride it with an enormous grin on your face!

This is the first time I've not only the frame, but the complete bike made for me. Richard Hallett builds exceedingly fine bikes. The tubes are a mixture of KVA stainless and Columbus something-or-other. Shown here in full touring mode and fast riding. It's the result of serious discussion and lots of measuring.
