Sick cat.

Many years ago our male cat (now long gone) had been fighting and one eye was almost closed with much infection in a wound above the eye where a tooth had gone in. Poor blighter was listless so off to the vet we went. Vet took one look, lifted his tail and stuck thermometer in. The look on that cat's face will stay with me for the rest of my life..............

He's been for his post-op checkup today and the vet was very pleased with how he's healing up. Joe was rather less happy about having to go to the surgery in my new (that is to say, old) and very noisy Citroen 2CV; I think he was worried that other cats would see him and point and laugh.

Did you have the roof down? I can just imagine his ears flapping in the breeze

My cat has lost his voice and is croaking more than miaowing at the moment,should I take him to the vet or will it take care of itself in time?
He seems OK generally btw.
