I cannae wait to get back to watching club rugby. I was píssed of that today's planned game of Melrose v Ayr was "cancelled", and not sure why tbh as I had been looking forward to it.

How many hours of refereeing prepared you for your striking analysis of Barnes' performance?

i'm tempted to just do the club run next saturday; if we do the italians for a cricket score and overhaul ireland's points difference (assuming they get passed scotland) we'll still have to see if the french can do the english over on the sunday.

Yup - totally weird tho - Ireland just didnt turn up to start with - and then went from their normal take the points attitude to all gambly and risky - should still have won despite the improvement in Welsh game

They are all played on Saturday, one after the other, so England will know the score they need to beat france by. I think ireland will win, as they are only a couple of points behind England with easier opposition. I cant see wales closing the gap.

I think you're right...and England will end up bitterly rueing the 14+ points they squandered yesterday through abysmal lack of vision among the backs.
