But you're going to buy an(other?) Aston Martin though, Geoffrey, or at least drink a few Martinis and take a shower Danny Craig style - surely? It is cgi rubbish. We persevered for 45 mins and then left.

I thought I saw Judie Dench whisper 'thank **** it's all over'.Without giving the end away, was i the only one in thinking....
"Meh. So what"
Very badly acted i thought. We should have felt something.
well, I admit seeing only 50% or so of the movie, so maybe I got the wrong impression but surely you agree that the ascent underneath the elevator carriage and train top chase scenes were cgis. Expertly made done but not very creative in the former use of the word. As for the acting....There are many things you can label Bond with, being a cgi fest isn't one of them.
@gbs - harsh wordsGo and see 'Untouchable'

Of course there is CGI in it, but far less then on most modern action movies. it's certainly got the best soundtrack of any bond film... and one of my most prized bits of vinyl.Puhlase - the Niven film is one of the best ever!
Mildly entertaining. I was surprised how packed it was because it was the second weekend after opening in a huge cinemaplex.
Agreed. (And I never expected the ending...)Indeed harsh. That is how I felt after struggling through Kensington traffic, paying for drinks at the pub before, 3 premier seats. £50 or so.
As for "untouchable": brilliantly acted and directed and v moving. The odd thing is that, one month later, I do not remember many of the scenes just the visceral impact.
PS: I may turn up at HPC on sunday. What is likely to be on? Hills of flat? I will want to be home for lunch.
interesting. I'm guessing that Little Red Book isn't on the soundtrack album....it's certainly got the best soundtrack of any bond film... and one of my most prized bits of vinyl.
