I challenge anyone to feel the difference in performance between a tyre with 2oz sealant in it and one without.

I must have hypersensitive dynomemeter testicles!

In 700c flavour slime tubes are over 200g. I forget the exact number but 215g sounds familiar. Its not just the sealant, but the Slime tubes themselves are weighty old things.

A moderately decent quality regular tube or the same size is less than half that. The difference of ofer 100g is closer to 5+ oz if my maths is vaguely in the ballpark.

The addition of more than a tenth of a KG out on the wheel rim, x2, is noticeable enough that even an oaf like me can feel it.
