What little things do you do to make life easier and more pleasant?
Things I do are:-
  • Put my jacket over the radiator while I'm getting dressed
  • Lay a fire before I go out so that I can just drop a match on when I get home
  • Mix coffee, milk and sugar in a mug before going to bed so that I can just pour on hot water first thing in the morning
What do you do?

Yes I can, Yes I am, Yes I did...Repeat.
I make the bed before I go to sleep so i dont have to do it in the morning.

Lay a fire? What's that all about then? Haven't you got a woman? Or central heating?

I put my bike kit on the radiator before bed so it will be cosy to climb into in the morning. Bike bag packed and ready. And always put the breakfast things out too. Plus, make sure there's water in my kettle before I leave in the morning so when I get home I just need to flick the switch.

Put a hot water bottle in half an hour before bed (sometimes).

Wash up after every meal.

Make butties the night before.

The cycling kit on a radiator thing is lovely at the moment.

I'm going to craft a pair of dedicated cycling shelves with hooks and attachments for above the radiator to allow more heat out for the cat who sleeps on a table next to the radiator.

cycling kit on the radiator in the changing rooms at work makes for a nice warm walk to the bike in the evening.

I wash up after every meal to get it out of the way.
I get my work bag and food sorted the night before.
I used to sharpen my tools at the end of the day in the workshop so that they would be ready for use the next day but found that I still honed them before use anyway so stopped bothering.
I have heating in my dressing room so don't need to put clothes on radiators.

The snooze button is good. Best part of the whole night is that ten minutes.

Remembered one I used to do when I had more spare cash, I'd stick a fiver in the back pocket of a pair of jeans in my wardrobe and forget about it, then have a nice surprise when it came to wearing the jeans.
