I think it could be useful for persuading people out of their cars, where they currently feel too unfit to cycle.

Found this thread again, had lost it: yes, neat design, great for people not able to cycle unaided. A bit wasted on a normal, medium fit person with short distance to travel.
Shame that technology aimed to assist less fit people to get out an about is always expensive.

Posted the link on FB, one of my pals, purely a utilitarian cyclist like me (we don't own cars) asks: is it heavy?
What do you think? Would it be heavier than a normal alu hybrid?

Definitely heavier than a normal bike, but until they release detailed specs it's impossible to say exactly how much. My guess would be north of 15kg.

And I reckon it will cost at least £2k
