Had to take a bit of pavement near the fast dual carriageway, as I couldn't see a thing because of the snow in my eyes!

These captions can be amusing, when we get some snow, cyclists are reported as 'venturing out' while at the same time the poor motorists are 'battling Arctic conditions'. .'

Had to take a bit of pavement near the fast dual carriageway, as I couldn't see a thing because of the snow in my eyes!

If I had been out in the snow, I would have been on the pavement too. Cars driven by incompetent nobbers sliding all over the road playing skittles with each other doesn't make for safe riding .

A very good question. This one has been reported as a 3.8, so several times larger than the last one, severe enough to knock some of our pictures askew and the bang was loud enough to bring everyone out onto the street. I should add that it is also now snowing here too, just to keep on topic .
