Several inches here. Just been down the hill to fetch Cubette from her job at MaccieD's where loads of cars stuck. By the time I went to fetch Cubester from his bar job most of the cars had given up. Rain here. The temp's just gone up from 37f to 40f now so no snow likely either

Temp here has just gone down with nightfall to 30 C so no snow likely here either.

The Met Office has declared a Yellow Be Aware warning for my area, but no one has told the people responsible for the BBC Weather website which forecasts weather no worse than could be expected in late December.
Sounds like the little boy might be crying wolf again.
It is only a couple of weeks since the forecast Weather Bomb turned out to be less of an event than a damp squib.

Seems Glasgow town is escaping snow fall again, but the gritters are out in arms.

Yes and I would have said do earlier, but the snow brought down some trees which in turn left us with no electricity... Still snowing but melting at roughly half the speed it is snowing...
