I once lost a lot of weight quite rapidly and ended being called Slim by my workmates. I thought I'd left the nickname behind when I changed jobs but a few months after starting, one of my mates from the previous job followed me to my new job. He greeted me with "Wotcha Slim!!" so the nickname stuck there too. A few years later after I'd changed jobs again, he followed me to yet another site. All-in-all I had the nickname for about 12 years but have managed to leave it behind for a while now. I still use it for forums (fori??) and work filenames when I don't want it immediately apparent who's at the keyboard.

Unfortunately, when I mention this to people now they take a look at my waistline and start sniggering

Goes back to the early days of my relationship with my now wife. I was annoying/tormenting her in some way or other, I can't remember what it was but she was quite worked up. In her frustration she yelled "You're a pig!". In response I raised a finger and said "Ah, that's 'Mr Pig' to you".
Not a Goons fan by any chance? That was a line of theirs...

Gaoler: Silence, scum!
Bloodnok: That's Mister Scum to you.

Re Swee'pea - I just like the word. It wouldn't let me have just Swee'pea, so I added a 99, and that was accepted.

Rather than buy new Holdsworth transfers I used Letraset (google it, young people)
I'm young and I know generally what the company does as an uncle works for them. Still googled for a more detailed description!

Mine really isn't hard - my name and year of birth...or is it?

My names Jim, and er I like the colour black!

Very-Near = Vernier cos I'm an engineer.

LLB = an abreviation of 'Linfordlunchbox' cos that is what my missus said first time I tried some cycling shorts on.

I think people prefer the Linford tag even though I changed it because some here felt it offended their sensibilities (you know who you are)

I think people just like to be offended for the sake of it...
