No point riding fixed in London AT ALL unless to indulge your own unique tart-like tendencies.

I live in a one fixed town (and own half the singlespeeds too!) and commute to a no fixed town. The former is soon to become a two fixed town. The one I'm building at the moment will give free reign to my own tartyness!

I tried a pair of skinny jeans on once, you know, just for the hell of it like... couldn't get them past my calf's, which now measure 45cms... round, each..

I off-loaded my fixed, just over a year ago (just wasn't using it for anything but pan flat rides) and it scared me a bit in London traffic. Thinking about building a replacement though... How many bikes can one fit in a one bed flat, I wonder

Reading this thread is making me fancy building a fixie just for the hell of it, but I like taking my old tourer to work for those lovely lunchtime rides (I work close to the countryside).

Maybe I could commute on the fixie but carry the tourer on my back...
