Ok, have a decent well-paid job, don't get into debt to feed the habit, don't have other hobbies, treat her right at all times and then a whole load of options open up..

built up over a weekend
thusly
"I made it from parts I had in the shed darling" which is disingenuous as is
delivery of components to work built up over lunchtimes ridden home (busted in less than 10 seonds)
then there is
It was a bargain off ebay my dear
and
Someone gave it to me as a fixer up-er my love
and
It's this year's cycle-to-work bike my angel.
and
But you can't wear more than one coat/pair of shoes at a time either dear heart

I off-loaded my fixed, just over a year ago (just wasn't using it for anything but pan flat rides) and it scared me a bit in London traffic. Thinking about building a replacement though... How many bikes can one fit in a one bed flat, I wonder

I just told SWMBO obeyed how much Lelly cost. She doesn't even notice the other bikes anymore!
