I got a pair of those too. Mine are Sealskinz.

I also got the Elbow back catalogue, the Muse back catalogue, a Chieftains CD, Tom Jones' Reload CD, and a bottle of Tokaji wine plus the usual sweets and nick nacks.

Well, I got....

PJ's, pants, nice shower stuff and £100 from Mum (amazingly generous, considering I'm about to start paying back the money she lent me last year). I haven't quite decided what to get yet, maybe a track pump, maybe call it the money for my latest batch of CC kit, maybe just add it to the new trike fund. I want a kettle for my trangia too, that'll come out of it.

Sis and bro-in-law (well, she bought and wrapped it all, but put his name on half of it) got me new winter cycling gloves, a firestick, some tinder, and some camping cutlery and the diary I wanted (a really nice embossed leather one, just like she got me last year and I asked for the same again). Oli got me a Wind in the Willows calendar, which is very clever of him, at 2.

Other pressies included an M and S voucher (and being all stocked up on pants, socks and PJs, I may fritter it on posh food), and socks, and a mug, and probably the most wide of the mark for someone who's been slimming recently, a family tin of Roses from Oli's other Gran, which everyone else immediately dipped into on the grounds that they were helping me out. Still, I'll take the remains into work...

Oli got two tractors, a combine harvester (which was the thing he'd asked for for weeks), some trains, and lots of books, mainly about Thomas...

Ted (20 months) got enough Thomas related toys to accurately recreate any book / episode / recording of Thomas and friends. Infact, we may open a thomas world and charge local rail enthusiasts entry.
Everything else was a tractor.

Makes me fond for last year now, when everything was a giraffe.

Some very nice things - more than I ever expected..not really a very material person. But a couple of highlights...

- A really special piece of jewellery from a very special person..:girl::biggrin:.

- A wasp catcher ! Hahhaha...must have really been obsessed this year. Take that Waspyfecker!::laugh:::laugh:

- and a really horrific tacky resin teddy bear figurine holding a heart with the word "love" on it which I will treasure forever, because my sweet daughter bought it and wrapped it all by herself.

Am a very lucky woman indeed.

My son bought me the new perfume from Lush - it's beautiful and some wine. Bits & pieces from Mum (she's given me money), choccies, wine. As a result of lots of arguments Mr Campfire agreed not to drag me out on Christmas eve to buy me something, ulterior motive I want so much stuff, I'd rather say some of it was a Christmas present. He usually buys me lovely jewellery but I've got too much! He said a car battery for Beetle would be difficult to pack up as he'd bought one week before Christmas, so we thankfully left it at that. Cheque from M-i-L in the Isle of Man.
I got a very unique Christmas card from Jane Smart - hohoho! It's a long story!
