I had an accident at work and I told my best mate, and he told his mate, and he told.........

I'm still unclear, 'Numb Nuts' as in foolish regret for telling them, or was it indeed the painful outcome of the unfortunate incident ?

DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
My initials 'DC' & surname 'Lane'.

Boring? Unimaginative? Yes.

But on everything (Twitter, Skype, Vodafone, work login, my bank a/c's, other forums, etc.) I'm DCLane and it eases my confusion!

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I have absolutely no imagination whatsoever:wacko:

I can vouch for that

On most forums I use "Bigsi" but it was already taken... Simmer is closest I could get to Simon . I like using real names, less things to remember.

The name my co-owner and I gave to our F-27 trimaran sailing boat.

It's a Scottish word, meaning:
  • "a rush of liquid" (as in opening a can or fizzy bottle)
  • it is also used in the Glasgow area to mean something easy - "a scoosh job"
  • we used to explain it as "the sound the water makes as it rushes past our hulls at 15 knots ..."
