My missus said she wanted a touring bike for Christmas.
I bought her a Ridgeback Tour.
She's over the moon with it.

At the other end of the cycle (sorry!) the charity bike shop where I volunteer is hoping for lots of donated bikes after the holidays . . . it's Cyclists Fighting Cancer (near Stratford-upon-Avon) - we take the bikes in, clean and fettle as necessary and they are then sold in the shop with funds raised going to supply bikes and specialist machines to children with various forms of cancers to enhance their quality of life, develop fitness and self-esteem.

I am waiting on a large voucher for the CTW scheme to come through the post in the new year so there is still hope.

My family never buys me anything bike related i just tell them to give a donation to my bike bits fund .My mum effectively bought some poggies for my commuter

From the same person who sold me his Trek 6500 MTB a few years ago. I've asked him to get a Specialized Roubaix as its replacement in case I want one in a couple of years time .

No bike but my lovely daughter bought me some SKS Raceblade Pro 'guards for my Giant Defy.... Hope to get them fitted later today. I did ask her for a Bianchi Speciallissma but she said that was a bit extravagant!!

Yes, I know - I should have cleaned the bike before fitting them, but it was very cold outside!!
