stopped at tourist office to get cycling map. Now those of you that know rurual france, know that everytime somebody walks into a place its bon jours all round !!!
well there i am in me padded shorts and bike outside, when in walks a 'grown up' cyclist - tippy toes and helmet with all the lycra gear (in yellow) he totally ignores me ! as i am obviously well below his level !!!
Know what i thought !!! "i bet he's not one of the cc forum members, so therefore he dosn't deserve or warrent a greeting" !!! cause he must be a stuck up nobody
mind you he did have a nice looking bike LOL

I wasnt talking about cyclist saying hello to each other - more about being in france and the habits etc - had i been wearing 'normal ' clothes he would have said bon jour !!! as he did to the other 2 people in the office !!!!!!

I assume you can speak French so what you should have done is spoken to the tourist office staff in perfectly good French then said 'Bonjour nobber' to him in the most outrageous French comedy Allo Allo type accent, so outrageous that he couldn't understand what you said.
