Sometimes I hate Contraflows :-/

I nipped out to the shops earlier and as Ive done plenty of times, I turned left through this cycle gateway/ contraflow. Its deliberate that there's no repeater signs in the interest of the naked streets/ urban design philosophies removing priorities encouraging folk to slow down. I get round the corner and a car pulls out of one of the side roads; no problem (its wide and I'm going slowly over the monoblock surface and speed bumps; looking out for the peds which regularly randomly stagger across the road) or so I thought; the erse decided he wanted to drive and point the direction cars have to go. Maybe calling him an erse is a bit hard given that the layout is unclear but on second thoughts deliberately driving your car at someone does make you an erse What do others think was he an erse (of the Father Jack order) or am I being cruel?

Well you werent in the wrong. It sounds like just a bit of confusion from the drivers side. He mustnt have seen this sign.

What is annoying me now, he'll go to home/work and profligate the myth that all cyclists ignore one way streets.

Did you notice which way the camera on the opposite corner was pointing? Might be worth a call to the constabulary.
