I did not Alpkit sold bikes. I think it must be something new.

I have ben looking for an Adventure bike for myself and Jannie. My requirements were big tyres, disc brakes, Shimano 105 or above, the ability to take panniers.

I am from a small village in Denmark called SONDER Vilstrup and I am helping to put together a 100km Camino route in my local area. What a surprise when I accidently came across the Sonder Camino from Alpkit this morning.

It seems to fit the bill and is a good price for the spec.

I would appreciate your thoughts.

Hi Steve. I can't talk for the bike itself. There are quite a few reviews out there. What I will say is that Alpkit are a fantastic company to deal with. I have bought lots of bits and bobs from them over the years. It is great quality and the price is always reasonable. At the moment I am working with them for some bespoke bike luggage. It's a breezy experience. On balance, I have had one problem with a product. It was sorted out in a flash without any difficulty. It'll be great to know how you get on.

I've been chatting to their bike guy Neil about the Ti version of these. Couldn't be more helpful or informative.

I'm going to go up and have a pedal in a month or two, but as you, I like what I see.

I'd dont think its that good value myself, if it was me that was after something like that I'd be looking at
http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBPXFMTIAG/planet-x-full-monty-shimano-tiagra-4700-disc-road-bike
Or The Genesis CDF which you can get on offer if you want the 2016 model.https://www.evanscycles.com/genesis...esvaid=50080&gclid=CKbQyLzywdECFckp0wodOuQMNg
I think steel rides better than an alloy bike if your doing lots off offroading, or on rough roads/tracks etc.
Liz,

I looked at the CDF but they dont have my size in olive green.

Hmmm,my thoughts on it Steve.
Well,you asked for it.
I love it and I think you should buy it
This is an MTB'ers perfect vision of a road(although not strictly) bike.
It looks solid and IMO seems decently specced.I see no reason not to go for it.
Nice one and Alpkit(from what I have heard) make quality stuff. That's an obvious example.

There's not much online about the aluminium version, found one positive account on Singletrack, but the Ti has many great reviews & Alpkit are nice people who sell good stuff. I'd agree, go for it if you like it.
