I have a Specialized Avatar but I can’t recommend it for others as everyone has their own preference.

Just pick a place that has a trial period.

Being very tall I need a wider saddle with a good cutaway and found a specialized avatar 155cm size fits me best. On standard sized saddles I was getting the James Bond on the chair with the rope experience

Had a giant saddle that came with bike .wasnt comfortable so i
Got a bike fit . ,sat on the seat for ass measurement and changed saddle to specialized toupe.still not good.then had to go back for bike fit follow up and changed saddle again as the toupe was too flat at back . Changed to specialized phenom which had a more of a raised back .much more comfortable for me now.
Changed for free because if u bought a specialized saddle you could exchange before 30days .

So after a few more miles turns out the saddle was useless!! went to my local Evans At Gatwick and spoke to a guy called Robin. Well it was like a breath of fresh air, when I told him my sit bones were 105, which he confirmed, he was disgusted that I was sold a saddle measuring 143 by the Canary Wharf branch. I was with him for over an hour. He found three narrow saddles and let me try them all. this is the one I ended up with, don't tell the mrs it was £90 lol.
once again first impressions are brilliant, watch this space!!
