The Bike Show is on at the moment. Wow that orogram is quite mainstream now.

They're doing spin classes in the swimming pool. Money to be made everywhere I guess. Just ensure the music rocks. Its very motivating don't you know.

Boring as hell. Music is too loud and I have never been able to hear a word that the instructor is saying/yelling. I might just be getting old but with the 'boom boom boom' sort of music and the instructor yelling 'wah wah wah' in a distorted sort of manner, I decided that it wasn't for me. I'd rather go out and get wet. I have tried 3 spin classes in 3 different venues but they have all be the same.
Oh, saddles are freaking uncomfortable too.
I've been told by my son that there are quite a lot of scantily-clad members of the opposite sex at spinning classes. Probably even more than you can meet on the road wearing team jerseys.
Hmmmm; I take back what I said in post #3. Maybe I should give these spin classes a try before passing judgement.

I like spin class. But I can see why old people might not.
I'm old. I enjoy them!

I work in the centre of town. It's all very well saying "just go for a ride" but how much of my lunch hour will I spend just getting to a place where I can ride hard?

On holiday no opportunity to cycke but there was a gym. Went on bike there and it was very dufferent. Did feel if it was a class and all spinning together it would be a good way to really do a good workout.
