I would far rather see an intruder in my house with a weapon, than see or hear anything ghostly.

My Grandmother used to say "You should fear the living, not the dead". Not a bad adage.

This is the only time anything odd happened but my dad had recently died at the time and the wife and I had just started talking about him and heard a bang from the dining room. We walked through to find his photo had fallen down.

Coincidence of course, but a creepy coincidence.

Had a picture of a group of relatives seldom seen together, distance more than anything else, fall from the wall. Frame & glass undamaged.

Wrote down the time and date on a piece of paper, slipping it in behind the photo, before placing it back on tbe wall. Learnt later that one of the people in the picture had died. The same day the picture fell from the wall.

He was only in one picture, and only that picture fell from the wall.
