As long as I breathe, I attack.
On the way home by a different route and i was in primary
here

indicating to take right hand lane when a bus comes past squeezing me into the left hand lane.

I give him a blast of the airzound and proceed to go around him as hes held up in traffic then block him all the way across...

here

When he finally manages to overtake a mile further up the road he gives me a blast of the horn to a respond in kind....

One of those days when i wish i had a camera but it was still dark so no chance of getting the plate anyway ..

Take a deep breath and mutter some expletive and move on

Not suprised by this, have you seen some of the freaks they let behind the wheel of a bus nowadays ! I nearly got splatter by a First bus just after Christmas but could not get the bugger's number because of all the road kack on the back of it and it did not stop at any piggin stops !!

I actually had two bus drivers back off yesterday, after stupid moves. On the way into Manchester, going down the A34, a coach pulls past, but the traffic isn't moving any faster than me. He gets halfway past then starts drifting towards me and back into his lane. I covered the brakes and shook my head - driver must have noticed, stopped pulling in and slowed - this allowed me to pass and continue through traffic.

Similar happened on A6 in the evening - stagecoach pulls out on another cyclist, he has to stop, but I was going a fair lick, so sprinted past him in the outer lane. A bit further on, bus eventually catches me, passes wide, but then starts signalling and pulling in. Another head shake from me, driver backs off, and apologises as I pass.

Credit where it's due ...

I recently had a Stagecoach bus cut in on me in, I made a complaint via the online form and they responded very quickly saying they had identified the driver, the bus had CCTV on it and they were going to review the footage with the driver.

Thumbs up to Stagecoach for this kind of attitude.

I had vowed never to take a Stagecoach bus again due to prior driving standards, but because of this new attitude I am softening.

Sounds like a standard response.

An off duty bus driver offered me and my bike a lift once! I think he decided it would be quicker to carry me than avoid me

A lot of the bus drivers in York are horrendous for the most part, luckily because I know the traffic commissioner they've started to realise that if they cock up they could very well be in deep trouble.

*I should point out, I've only ever reported one driver for dangerous driving, the rest I go to their respective companies and tell them to sort the driver out or I will, it's an empty threat but it works*

No, the writing style was definitely hand crafted and seemed genuine. Complaining to Stagecoach used to be a black hole so I was pleasantly surprised. I wonder if company policy is getting better or just that our area has an enthusiastic new recruit. It would be interesting to hear other people's experiences.

@astrocan - The form I used was just the 'contact us' form on their main website.
