I'm considering buying another bike, and for the first time getting electronic shifting, but I don't know which of the abovementioned groupsets is better. Comments, anyone?

Regards & thanks,

--- Victor.

Somewhat 'specialist' subject, but there are a few Shimano Di2 users here, with it being more 'popular'. Both rather good, but I would suggest finding out which one you prefer as the shift buttons are different, one may suit you better.

I believe that Dura Ace is due an refresh / new version being released shortly.
AXS is 12 speed and with a wide range due to the use of a 10 toothed sprocket on the cassette. Dura Ace is currently 11s.

I have Dura Ace on my TT bike, but that’s not really a normal road set up. I have a few bikes with 11s etap and Mrs O has AXS on her bike. My next bike has AXS on it, but it has not yet arrived.

If you go AXS I am sure you won’t be disappointed. If you go Dura Ace, it might be worth waiting a little while until the latest version is released.

I’ve got di2 11spd on 2 bikes
12000 mls on 1 and never had to touch it apart from a few charges
never dropped a chain or missed a shift,v happy with it
