Came across this on one of those list sites, listing 'hilarious' mistranslations (some of which, it has to be said, do raise a chuckle). Didn't make me laugh, but it certainly made me smile...

Wonder if all they meant to say was 'Keep off the grass'.... much prefer their version!

Bizarrely the translation is fine, it is the Chinese that is wonky.

Xiao cao xiu xi qing wu da jiao

"xiu xi" means to rest (loosely translated here as "dreaming"). I think it should be "xiu hu" which means under repair or maintenance
