This thread deserves an award, its given me the best laugh for days.
No, I forgave him. I'm nice like that!Is that why he's your ex-husband?
A friend and I once stopped for a leak on a quiet, isolated country lane. I nipped behind a tree, but he remained astride his bike, pro-style, in the middle of the road. As you may have guessed, an elderly couple rounded the bend at exactly the wrong time, and the poor lady in the passenger seat got a bit of a shock.
ahh!So are a lot of roadies in this weather.
This was on foot, rather than the bike, and was bloody embarrassing!I remember a club ride where I pulled off the back of the pack to water a near by gate post, it was only after I had got started that I realized there was a woman walking her dog in the field, fortunately she had her back to me and never looked round
.
Presumably, your female MTB buddies went back to their roots? When I used to mountain bike I always had a strong feeling that racing around the countryside showing off one's physical strength and marking one's territory on trees had a distinctly primitive sort of appeal.
That's an offer you don't see every day on an internet forum...................well not one ones I frequent!MTB riders!! I would never have done that!!
I would have stopped and asked if you needed a hand![]()
Nowt wrong with a roadside stop. After all, it's what we did before toilets were installed in homes.
