having got fed up with freezing feet on my commute and on autumn / winter club runs I decided to invest in some winter cycling shoes. Shimano gortex ones.
They are great and warm. However, as I discovered on Sunday in a downpour, rain can easily trickle in from the ankle area. Leaving them full of freezing water... which can't get out, as they are so waterproof!!!! They are still drying out in the radiator, three days later....
Anyone else have this problem? And more importantly if you do, have you got a solution?
The only thing I can think of is duct tape.......
