Now that I have 3 bikes (two road and one hybrid) and I live in a one bedroom flat which is the size of a coffee table, I really need to think about storage! I was thinking of buying this and putting my two road bikes on it (as they are the lighter of the 3) and then storing my hybrid bike in the normal way (against the wall). Is this any use for storing the two road bikes:

There is a very similar one on chainreaction for £49.

But on the one from Evans, the lower bike only seems a few inches off ground level, so doesn't seem to be much better than just leaning on the wall.

An alternative would be to have something like this, high on the wall for 2 bikes and the third underneath against the wall:-

I have 3 bikes hanging on hooks, 2 from the front wheel and the one in the middle hanging from the back wheel.
Total space needed is 1metre wide, 2 metres high and 1 metre in depth , cost under a tenner.

Amazon or Ebay , cant remember which, same as these ones, you only need to put a fixing in the top and bottom hole .

On the wall quite high up so I got a storage box underneath with my shoes, helmet, etc so not to waste any space , plus the bikes hanging are great for drying your cycling gear on.

The trouble with this is that they stick out into the room as they're angled at 90deg.

Your best solution is get rid of two, you know you don't need them. Simples.
Think minimalism. Then apply that to the rest of your belongings and see the space it liberates. You'd be surprised what you can do without.

That bike on the right of the 2nd photo is in a bad position. Remove and reinsert that bike enough times, and your back will be ruined, because the storage boxes below it prevent you standing close enough to the bike to better support your back when lifting the bike.

I've 4 bikes in a 2 bed flat all stored with 2 of these....

I looked at loads of alternatives before deciding on these and I've not been disappointed. No drilling of the walls as the just lean against the wall and are very stable whether loaded or not
