It was blowing a hooley all night last night, but apparently it wasn't Angus but a smaller, unnamed, storm passing through. Made more noise than Angus though.

Several feet of flooding in parts of Glossop and Hadfield.
I'm sure it'll be leading the BBC news tomorrow
I was in east Lancashire during the floods last Christmas and it was headline news on the BBC. I also note that the focus of the news last night was on the flooding in the south west (correspondent reporting from Exeter, footage from Bristol), not the south east.
